Once logged into HTLoto with your username and security code, you have two options:- Set up your own group
- Join an existing group
You may belong to two groups. If you wish to belong to more groups, you’ll want to become a LotoSupporter.
To navigate within the game, use the main menu above as well as the lead in the red band. From there you may access the various parts of the game. Certain pages also feature a menu on the right-hand side, which will allow you to make use of specific facilities in relation with the page.
If you have set up your own group
You may invite more players and others may join on their own initiative, depending on the kind of invitation you have selected.Players can be invited at all times, even after a tournament has begun.
Then you can set up a tournament. This is where you determine the game criteria on which members will bet. Lastly all you need to do is add games to your tournament so that members can place their bets. Rankings will be calculated automatically.
Setting up a tournament
You may choose as many criteria as you wish. Just make sure you don’t add too many so players are put off by the profusion of bets. Still take care to provide enough in order to spice up the tournament and single out the most successful betters! To use a match criterion, just determine a number of points for the criterion. This number will be attributed in each game to each player when the bet is correct.Criteria, once determined, can no longer be changed. Please make sure the criteria and number of points are right before validating.
Inviting players
You may invite any HTLoto player to join your group. Each player is free to accept or refuse the invitation. If a player has already reached the maximum number of groups he may join, he will have to leave a group before joining another.Create rounds
You can define rounds within your tournament in order to group matches together and get standings for each round. A roud will symbolize a championship day or a cup round but it can match any organization.The advantage of using the rounds is that you can limit the bet criteria on the matches of each round. So you can bet on certain criteria a week and on others the following week.
The only limitation is that only the bets set at the tournament that can be specified, it is important to clearly define your tournament at start.
The rounds are optional, it is not mandatory to use them.
Adding matches
As group creator, you must add matches to the tournament in progress. A game must be added the day before it is played at the latest so that members have time to bet. You may add any game to your tournament, as long as it exists on Hattrick. A game can be cancelled as long as it has not begun and no bet has been placed.When you add a match, you can define in which round it will be added.
Betting on a match
You may bet on games while a tournament is in progress. Bets will be the same for all games in a tournament. You may place a bet up to 15 minutes before the start of the game and change them as many times as you wish. Only the last submission will be taken into account. For each bet you may choose between two pre-determined values, (eg, one of the two teams in the game) or a free value to be entered (eg, the result of the match).Match results
When a match is finished, you can see the results and compare your forecasts, you will automatically see the number of points you scored for that match.Ranking calculation
When a game is over, you can see the results and compare them with your forecasts. The number of points you scored for this match will appear automatically. Once the games ended, the results are retrieved and scores calculated. This calculation takes place every 15 minutes, depending on the time that ends your game, you will have to wait a bit before the result and the classification of the group.As a LotoSupporter
Becoming a LotoSupporter, beside helping the site to work and develop, allows you to gain advantages and additional information on HTLoto.You may belong to 5 groups. A more detailed score chart allows you to compare your forecasts with other group members' for each game.
There are no ads on the site.

Closing a tournament
The group creator may close a tournament (end of season, end of cup, etc) because it has come to an end. Closure is not possible as long as a match accepts forecasts.On closure, the score chart can no longer be edited. the tournament winner is declared and a new tournament may start within the group.
Closing a group
A group creator may decide its closure. Tournaments and forecasts are no longer possible. Closure is possible only if no tournament is in progress.
